In the new collection of Fall-Winter 2018/19 season, Re Vera fancily combined traditions of the past and tendencies of the future holding true to natural tint range. It means that any garment, let it be a cashmere cardigan made in compound purple or a gray pleated midi skirt, a silk dress with funny print with dogs or a tweed jacket with fashionable fringe serving as a trimming, perfectly fits together with another knitted or textile partner presented in the lookbook.
Softness of cashmere is accentuated by classic colours: intense gray, subdued beige and ecru, mysterious marengo. Designer’s intarsias having become the Re Vera signature appeal to the eyes of their admirers by the new variations: exotic parrot, as if just landed on the jumper; styled irises; fleur-de-lis with addition of sparkles of lurex thread; abstract patterns.
As for twelve trendy colours heading the traditional yearly chart from Pantone and coloristic additions from stylists, the creation of Re Vera branded masterpieces was inspired by: Harbor Mist, Warm Sand, Coconut Milk, Spicy Apple, Emperador, Chili Oil and Yellow Meadowlark. Coming in top place, Ultra Violet got its peaceful embodiment due to a blur formed by thin interweaving of downy cashmere threads.
Among the novelties of the collection are: sports trousers with cuffs and cashmere knitted zipped jackets. The hooded cardigan is also interesting: absence of a closure allows wearing the knitted garment on either side, each of them having different coloristic schemes – gray and ultraviolet. Notable for originality are the chiffon insets with the print represented by animals on cashmere sweaters.
